ORLEN Aviation takes special care of natural environment, for which it feels responsible. The company is aware of potential hazards linked to storage, handling, and transport of hazardous substances, therefore, it implements a number of actions aimed at secure operation of the Airport Fuel Depot.
ORLEN Aviation is active in the field of environmental protection which is confirmed by our participation in "Complex Evaluation of Okęcie Airport’s Impact on the Natural Environment Programme" and prompt execution of its all recommendations.
ORLEN Aviation’s tank farms are constructed and equipped in accordance with Polish law. Special care in respect of tank farms exploitation ensures operation free of uncontrolled spills and leakages and, simultaneously, helps us to avoid water and soil pollution.
ORLEN Aviation, as a result of the implementation of the provision of Art. 261 sec. 5 of the Environmental Law Act dated 27 April 2001, is obliged to provide information about safety measures and the undertaken steps in the event of occurrence of serious industrial accidents in the establishment of an increased risk of occurrence of industrial accidents.
